Sport: "I don’t regret it. What is there to regret? - arsene Wenger

     Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger
insists he has nothing to apologise for following a shoving match with Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho on Sunday.
As it happened: Chelsea v Arsenal
The two London clubs squared off at Stamford Bridge this weekend, where Eden Hazard's first-half penalty and a Diego Costa goal after the break handed the Blues a 2-0 win to take them five points clear at the top of the Premier
League. The highly volatile encounter was not without its moments of menace, either, when the opposing managers came face-to-face in the dugout after Gary Cahill had fouled Alexis Sanchez.
Mourinho appeared to grab Wenger's tie
before the Frenchman retaliated by shoving the Portuguese tactician, with the pair then exchanging heated words.
When asked about his actions, Wenger said: "I don’t regret it. What is there to regret? I wanted to go from A to B and somebody confronted me before B without any sign of welcome.
“B was Sanchez, to see how badly he was
injured. Honestly, I don’t listen to what he says. You could see if I really try to push. Come on." Looking back over the incident which sparked the row, Wenger said: "A red card for Cahill wouldn’t surprise you if you watched it again. I went to Sanchez to see how badly he was
injured. "Oscar was lucky to stay on the pitch with his repeated fouling and he was only booked in the 88th minute. He was purposely fouling. Then there is Ivanovic as well with bad fouls, but it’s down to the referee, not to me. "I trust you will all teach me the moral lessons over the next two weeks and I can accept that. I am long enough in the game to see things the
right way. I don’t listen to what Mourinho
    says."
