REVEALED! REAL REASON INI EDO FILED FOR DIVORCE

Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, took to Twitter on Thursday to explain why she filed for divorce from her husband. There had been reports in the media that the actress and her husband were divorcing because of infidelity on her part. Ms. Edo denied the reports, stating that she never cheated and that she filed for a divorce due to issues that could not be resolved.

“There is a conscious and malicious attempt at tarnishing my image,” she said.

Ms. Edo and Philip Ehiagwina, who lives in the United States, got married in November, 2008 and called it quits five weeks ago. The actress has deleted her estranged husband’s name from all her social media accounts except her Twitter handle, which remains @ini4phil; Phil for her husband. The  couple did not have children together
