Women who escaped The terror of the Boko Haram kidnappings in which hundreds of Victims have been violently forced to convert to Islam have spoken about their ordeal.
The abuse of more than 500 women and girls since 2009 has been detailed in a Human Rights Watch report that says they are whipped, beaten or killed unless they convert to Islam. Many have also been raped or forced to accompany the group on operations.
One victim spoke how Muslims and Christian women are treated differently by the terrorist group.
''they told the Muslims to stand to one side and the four of us Christians to other, they released the Muslims but kept us, i kept pleading for them to leave me alone because i had my baby, but they refused to listen and they told me to put my baby down so i put her down'' She said, speaking in Hausa language.
Another victim, captured in September 2013, was forced to carry bullets for Boko Haram during operations.
" When they wanted me to kill the first man, my body was shaking and i fell down on the ground, they forced me to get up and watch as they killed the second person, at that point i was think i should grab a gun from the insurgence and kill myself since they taught us how to shoot"
The federal Government on the 17th October 2014 said a cease fire agreement and a deal has been stroked with the Boko Haram group for the release of the adopted 236 Chibok girls.
October 14th marked six months since this girls have been kidnapped
