A teenage boy who "idolised" TV character
Dexter stabbed his 17-year-old girlfriend to death in Oxted and then dismembered her body, a court has heard.
The teenager has been jailed for life as he stabbed her in the head and back. He cut her legs and arms into pieces and wrapped placed then in bin bags.
The teen allegedly used saws and gardening tools that belonged to his father. The accused had been diagnosed with an autistic syndrome. He had wanted to resemble the serial killer so badly that he had warned a past girlfriend that a similar personality will be seen in him soon.
Surrey Police said he then tried to clean up the scene and hide what he had done before the crime was discovered by a family a member.
